WELCOME: 2008 MSU Leadership Summit September 23 and 24, 2008
The theme of this year’s summit is HD Leadership. Incremental improvements are no longer enough. High definition leadership is needed now if we are to redefine ourselves, our companies and our communities in light of the rapid shifts in the economy and the world environment. Our HD theme will inspire you to look at leadership and decisions in totally new ways. Our sessions and workshops will give you the tools to make it happen.
Highlights of this year’s conference:
- Join other participants for an optional afternoon Golf Tournament at the beautiful MSU Golf Course starting at noon on September 23. Winners will have their photo taken with General Colin Powell.
- Listen and learn from our Distinguished Leaders Panel Discussion on the morning of September 24. Executives Ralph Crosby of EADS North America, Richard Adkerson of Freeport Mc-MoRan, Jim Newsome of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Hu Meena of Cellular South, and Carolyn Shanks of Enexus Energy Corporation will share their views on today’s critical business issues. Find out how these very successful executives view the coming changes in the business world, and what they think we should do to prepare.
- Choose from a selection of focused workshops based on your specific needs or interests on the afternoon of September 24. Sessions will be led by well-known professionals with years of training experience.
- Wrap up the Summit with a wine and cheese reception and delicious dinner at the Hunter Henry Center. Our key note speaker, the honorable General Colin Powell, USA (Ret.), will join us for dinner prior to his evening presentation.
