Tuition & Fees If you are a main campus student, you are welcome to enroll in distance learning courses; however, additional tuition and distance fees will be assessed to your student account. Distance fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.To view all available distance courses, please visit the Master Course Schedule. On the Campus drop down box, please select Distance Education.
Tuition is assessed on a per credit hour basis at the prevailing rates as determined by the Institution of Higher Learning, the governing board of the University. In addition, many distance course may be accessed a per credit hour distance fee. Tuition rates and distance fees are subject to change from semester to semester. A tuition calculator is available from the University comptroller at the following website: http://www.controller.msstate.edu/ar/cgi/tcalc.cgi Student Obligation Billing Students can access their accounts via MyBanner Info system. The system contains a student menu that provides a comprehensive summary of all charges to the student's account by the University. Students may access their account information 24 hours a day. - MSU no longer sends bills through USPS. - NOTE: There is a 25 day grace period to make payment on billed charges. There will be a service charge at the rate of 1.5% assessed per month on any charges outstanding greater than 25 days from billing. Payments Accepted forms of payment include:

Unpaid Balances Any outstanding and past due amounts owed to the University must be paid in full before a student may register for additional courses. All payments received on student accounts will be applied to charges in the same order in which the charges were incurred. A student who has a hold on his or her record because of an overdue account may not receive a transcript or a diploma until the account is cleared.
