Hello!
I am Valerie Tate, a Program Coordinator in the Division of Academic Outreach and Continuing Education.  At Mississippi State, I coordinate distance, independent study and professional development courses and programs in the College of Education.  I work closely with the Elementary Education programs that allow our future teachers to receive the best education Mississippi State has to offer.  This program is offered through the Mississippi Interactive Video Network (MIVN). It allows students to participate in this program in the Booneville and Decatur areas.  It is my job to assist the College with the various services we offer such as marketing, technology, and registrations.

A native of Mississippi, I received my bachelor degree in Office Systems and Technology from Mississippi State University and Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Mississippi State University.

I have worked in the Division for over 10 years, sharing much experience and education from the various units within.  I am eager and willing to work with the faculty and students with great dedication.
