Welcome!

I am Mindy Wolfe and have returned to the Office of Academic Outreach after a brief stint with the non-credit side of the Division. I bring over 7 ½ years of distance learning and coordination experience to my new position, which provides direct support to our High School Independent Study and Dual Enrollment programs. I began my career as a coordinator for the Elementary Education Distance Program and the Master of Science in Health Promotion. I enjoyed working with these programs because they changed lives for students. Most students in both programs would not have been able to obtain their degrees had it not been for the flexible, distance delivery available. Countless students reported to me that being able to obtain their degrees via distance enabled them to have a better life for their families and themselves. 

In the Health Promotion program, specifically, students were able to earn a graduate degree online, while becoming eligible for salary increases and promotions within their companies and schools without having to sacrifice any portion of their job commitments. 

It is the satisfaction of meeting the needs of so many people that has brought me back to Academic Outreach in a new capacity. Although I am not working with degree programs, the High School and Dual Enrollment programs provide a much needed source of education for younger students across the state and the nation. It is our hope that by offering such programs online, Mississippi State University will have a new recruitment base for future Bulldogs. I work directly with Jimmie Hardin and Lisa Morgan and am happy to answer any questions that you may have about these two programs or simply provide you with the assistance you need.
