Marketing Services

  • Course/Program Representation at Expos, Conferences

Our Coordinators are expected to attend at least one conference, workshop, or expo each fiscal year to promote Distance Learning and College Independent Study endeavors. Many times, a program or course will be nominated by us for an award to be presented in conjunction with one of the conferences typically attended each year. Participation in such events allows our Coordinators and you as our partner the ability to gain notoriety for Mississippi State University, network with other institutions across the nation for possible, future partnerships, and advertise and recruit for current courses, certifications, and programs.

There is no cost for our Coordinators’ attendance or participation at such events unless your academic department, organization, or institution specifically requests that one or more of our Coordinators attend a particular conference, workshop, expo, or similar event. In this case, and in terms of general travel on behalf of your course or program, all costs associated with such ventures will be assessed to your appropriate course(s).

  • Marketing Plan Consultation, Design, Development, & Implementation

Our appropriate Coordinator will work closely with your academic department, organization, or institution on any type of strategic marketing campaign. This includes all consultation, design, development, and implementation of the entire campaign and its materials. Drafts are submitted to our Coordinator for final approval in discussion with you. Once the materials are approved by you, the final product(s) are developed and priced at the most efficient cost available.

Costs such as printing for flyers, posters, and brochures are assessed to your appropriate course(s). Any magazine, journal, newspaper, radio, athletic, and online banner advertisements are expensed to your appropriate course(s).

There are cases when we may perceive an added value to promote all of our partners via marketing. Any costs associated with these types of ventures are at no cost to you.
