Hi!  My name is Jodi Roberts, and I am the Program Coordinator for the Department of Instructional Systems, Leadership and Workforce Development (ISLWD), as well as for the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Blindness and Low Vision (RRTC).  Both the Department and the Center are housed within the College of Education here at Mississippi State University. 

The ISLWD Department offers three distance education programs in which students can obtain degrees in the following areas:   Ph.D. in Community College Leadership, Master of Arts in Teaching - Community College Education, and Master of Science in Workforce Education and Leadership.  All of these programs prepare the learner to work in a Community College setting.  For more detailed information regarding these programs, please visit our website at www.distance.msstate.edu or contact me directly.

The RRTC offers a graduate certificate Vision Specialist in Vocational Rehabilitation.  This academic certificate is intended for vocational rehabilitation counselors and graduate students in vocational rehabilitation programs to provide them with the expertise with issues specific to visual impairments.  This intensive nine week program is offered each spring semester and includes both online and face to face formats. The Center is working toward the goal of providing the entire program online. Please feel free to contact me for more information regarding this certificate program.

In my tenure at MSU, I have had the opportunity to work in various academic units, as well as in the student affairs departments.  These experiences have given me the knowledge required to assist students in their endeavors as they work to obtain a distance education degree or graduate certificate.  My goal is to provide the best possible service to my students, faculty, and department.  If I can be of any assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.  I look forward to working with you.
